Trail and Boundary Work
Description
"Trail Friends," a highly successful program for sharing information about the Park's trails during the Park's peak visitation months of April, May, June, September and October, is looking for volunteers for the Spring, 2019 season. Once trained, volunteers will sign up for shifts at selected trail heads where they will be available at the trailhead or on the trail to help visitors who need more information about the trail. They may provide visitors with directions, maps, trail descriptions, and recommendations. For complete details about the program, including training requirements, please visit FriendsOfSouthCumberland.org/trail-friends. In April, May, and June, Trail Friends are needed at five locations -- Greeter Falls, Grundy Forest, Stone Door, Denny Cove and Foster Falls -- for the following shifts: • Friday from 2-5 pm • Saturday from 9 to 3 • Sunday from 9 am to 3 More than one person can sign up for each slot!
